Love Data Week 2025

UC Libraries and their partners are collaborating on another UC-wide Love Data Week from February 10-14, 2025. With sessions designed to foster knowledge sharing and skill development, the event promises to empower attendees with valuable insights, tools, and strategies to navigate the intricate world of data. All events are free to attend and open to any member of the UC community.  

With over 20 presentations and workshops, whether you’re working on qualitative or quantitative data, there’s plenty to choose from. Topics include: 

  • Tips & tools for dealing with large data in the command line

  • Sharing and locating research data in humanities and social sciences

  • Wikipedia edit-a-thon

  • Safeguarding privacy in qualitative research

  • Photogrammetry and virtual reality environments

  • Unlocking data: a gentle introduction to APIs

  • Get credit for your work with ORCID

  • Finding geospatial data

  • and much more!
