Much of the UC Berkeley campus will be closed, or operating on modified schedules, during the Holiday Energy Curtailment period from December 25, 2017 to January 1, 2018.
Research IT services and support will be operating during this period as follows:
BRC HPC - The Savio cluster and related High Performance Computing services will be available throughout the curtailment. Support during this period will be on a best-effort basis, and may be subject to some delays.
BRC Consulting services across the program will not be available during the curtailment.
BRC Analytics Environments on Demand (AEoD) will be available, but any issues (and support requests) may also be subject to delays during the curtailment period.
Research Data Management consulting will be closed Monday, December 25, 2017 through Monday, January 1, 2018.
Informatics Services - CollectionSpace services for all five campus museums will continue to operate and be monitored for availability. However, consulting and support services will be closed Monday, December 25, 2017 through Monday, January 1, 2018.
Our partner unit, Educational Technology Services (ETS) has posted service adjustment information for this year’s Holiday Energy Curtailment on the ETS website.
