Welcome to this special Spring 2025 issue of UC Berkeley's Research IT newsletter. Coinciding with Valentine’s Day, next week is Love Data Week

which is being celebrated across the UC campuses and the country. Love Data Week is a nationwide campaign designed to raise awareness and build a community to engage on topics related to research data management, sharing, preservation, reuse, and other research data services. Women in High Performance Computing Bay Area Chapter

Join us! We are a group of women and allies based among Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory (LBNL) and UC Berkeley. Our mission is to diversify the HPC profession to better represent the important work of women and other underrepresented groups.

As a Women in HPC chapter, our goals range from local, individual support to transforming the global HPC community for the better. We hope to bring together various communities of practice who have experience with not only HPC, but additional surrounding topics like data science, data storage and movement, web portals, skill-building, and any other topics of interest. Join our community by filling out this form(link is external)
