Matt Massie of UC Berkeley's AMPLab and LBNL HPC Services engineer Bernard Li's new book "Monitoring with Ganglia - Tracking Dynamic Host and Application Metrics at Scale" has been recently published by O'Reilly media. Ganglia, originally developed by Massie, is one of the most widely used tools for monitoring HPC clusters. This book shows how to use Ganglia to collect and visualize metrics from clusters, grids, and cloud infrastructures at any scale.
